About the studio
MIRA comes from Miranda — the surname of founder Janny Miranda — and from the Spanish word for “look.” The studio is her one-artist lash and brow practice inside Acqua Private Residences, Mandaluyong.

Meet the artist
Cheer squad, content creation, nursing school — then lashes chose her.
It started in high school, during cheerleading days — those minutes in front of the mirror before a performance, glamming up with the girls, making sure every detail felt right. It wasn't about the glam. It was the quiet confidence that came with it.
That feeling stuck. Through content creation Janny worked with beauty brands and became the family's go-to for anything beauty-related. She considered professional makeup classes, but lashes and brows felt different: patience, skill and precision in millimetres. It felt, in her words, like a calling.
The caring part was never new. She was a nursing student; she's been the “mom” of her friend group for as long as anyone remembers. Her first models were friends who let her practice until practice became mastery — and their trust became the studio's founding capital.
“Beauty isn't just about the results — it's about the experience, the confidence, and the self-love that comes with it.”
That's what MIRA is: one artist, one private suite, and appointments that end with that spark — leaving feeling like the best version of yourself. This is just the beginning.
